2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift Launched In India; Prices Start At ₹ 9.43 Lakh
The 2018 Hyundai Creta facelift has been launched in the country with prices starting at ₹ 9.43 lakh for the petrol version, while the diesel version starts at ₹ 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). The updated Creta gets its first comprehensive upgrade, almost three years after launch sporting revised styling, updated interiors and a host of new features on offer. Keeping up with the market, Hyundai has also launched an orange paint scheme with a dual-tone option on the compact SUV. The new Hyundai Creta facelift is ₹ 15,000 more expensive than its predecessor for the base petrol version; whereas the top-spec SX (O) petrol is more expensive by ₹ 57,000. On the other hand, prices for the base diesel variant remains unchanged while the top-spec SX (O) trim is pricier by ₹ 44,000. Interestingly, Hyundai has skipped the SX+ trim altogether, and the SX (O) is the new range-topping variant across the 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines. The 1.4-litre diesel is offered on the E+ and S trims. The 2018 Creta takes on the Mahindra XUV500 facelift and the Jeep Compass.

As part of the upgrades, the 2018 Hyundai Creta facelift gets a slightly updated front, featuring the new cascade grille with a chrome bezel that makes it look a bit more upmarket. The bumpers are new and get a dual-tone finish with skid plates. The fog lamps have also been revised and are now surrounded by new LED DRLs, while you also get new bi-functional projector headlamps, positioning lamp, LED side indicators, 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and a shark fin antenna as part of the changes. At the rear, the Creta facelift sports updated taillamps, which look good.

You also get speed sensing auto door lock, sliding front armrest and height adjustable driver's seat, which is offered as standard. There's also cruise control, a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink, along with the iBlue Audio Control App.
