Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s non-starry parenting approach won them a fan; find out

Noted author Shobhaa De recounted an incident in her recent column about her in-flight interaction with Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput. She wrote that she met Shahid and Mira Kapoor in a flight to the city from Amritsar.

When she woke up from a nap, she saw Shahid and Mira Kapoor’s darling daughter Misha looking at her. Shahid and Mira greeted her and offered her parathas. Shobhaa mentions in the column that she did not find anything starry about Shahid and Mira. In fact, both of them behaved like regular passengers and had no starry air.

They did not ask for any special treatment and regularly checked on little Misha Kapoor who was in a cheerful mood. Both were equally involved in monitoring her and kept her distracted by playing her favorite nursery rhymes on a tablet.

Shahid and Mira encouraged Misha to interact with the other kids on-board and prompted her to say ‘thank you’ to everyone. Shahid and Mira had no entourage, no nannies and no bodyguards.

She also mentions that she asked Mira about Misha’s nanny, to which she replied, “I don’t have one. We are happy with our Didi. I brought her with me when I got married, and it has worked out just fine.”

She calls the young couple ‘natural and comfortable’ in her column. In the interaction, Mira Rajput also mentioned to Shobhaa about planning an addition to their family.

Well, Shahid and Mira’s no-fuss approach to parenting has definitely won them a fan.
