Aspiring WWE superstar to compete at Greatest Royal Rumble

At least one aspiring WWE superstar from tryouts in Saudi Arabia will be part of the Greatest Royal Rumble.
The U.S. company is heading to the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah on Friday for a WWE Network special.
Fans in the Middle East will be treated to the first Royal Rumble match in WWE history to feature no less than 50 superstars.
And viewers here in the UK won't have to stay up late for once, as the event kicks off at 5pm GMT, with a Kickoff pre-show at 4pm.
WWE has selected eight winners from auditions, which began at the city's King Abdullah Sports City Sports Hall last Wednesday.

They were overseen by WWE executive Triple H, aka Paul Levesque, and Albert, aka Performance Center head trainer Matt Bloom, plus British wrestler turned WWE coach Johnny Moss.
The contenders have received intensive training and will be involved in a "to-be-determined way" at the blockbuster pay-per-view.
It is believed that one or more of the talent selected will take part in the bumper Royal Rumble match itself.
Superstars confirmed for the contest include Daniel Bryan, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Braun Strowman, Big Show and more.

Here are the winners from the tryouts in Saudi Arabia and their backgrounds:
  • Hussain Aldagal - 6ft 3in, experience in volleyball and bodybuilding
  • Mansoor Al-Shehail - 6ft, 175lb, has trained with Dory Funk Jr.
  • Faisal Kurdi - 5ft 9in, 180lb, has done MMA fighting, amateur grappling, and Muay Thai boxing
  • Nasser Bawazir - 6ft 3in, 250lb, background in boxing, MMA, and aikido
  • Khalid Alhothali - has competed in bodybuilding, boxing and jiu-jitsu
  • Abdullah Almagrabi - 225lb, has experience in karate and as a boxing trainer
  • Faisal Allabboudy - 23, has competed in swimming, boxing and bodybuilding
  • Asaad Alshareef - 23, has participated in Greco Roman and freestyle wrestling and trained in martial arts
